is it necessary on windows 10? can it be  deleted? and do  i need it at startup? Tthank you for an responses

I would say if you disable your Bluetooth may not work

I provided information so you could read about it and make your own decision about what's best for your system.

I would say if you disable your Bluetooth may not work

do not have anyhing like that in  control panel  but is in device manager and  i have it toggled off

It's part of your atheros wireless network card leave it enabled.

thank you so do  i toggle it on

and can  i remove or disable in automatic startup


i do not have it in control panel but it is in device manager I ha a screen shot or image on my desk top to show you bit do not know how to get the file to show here

Dan suggested leaving it enabled.
But you seem determined to be rid of it.

If you're determined to disable or uninstall it, just be prepared for your BT or related services to stop working properly. If that happens, you might need to re-enable or reinstall it.

We are not in front of your computer.
We can only provide suggestions based on the little data available.
For example, we don't even know if this is a desktop or laptop, or whether you use WiFi or BT.
YOU are the only one who can decide what to do for YOUR computer.

All of which begs the question: why are you asking about removing or disabling it in the first place?

Download and install Speccy - https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

Run it, and then go to File and Publish Snapshot. Post the resulting link in your next reply
