Fing is showing the warning You have Connectivity Problems - Ethernet link speed is not optimal.

I am running Windows Ten Pro 64.

Here is a Screen Grab.

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks :)

Do you have a gigabit router?

Do you have a gigabit router?

No its PlusNet Hub 2 . The adaptors in PC are Gigabit Network Connection.

Just ignore it then until you get a gigabit connection on your router.

I'd just ignore that '...not optimal' message, in your situation it's irrelevant. Your Internet bandwidth is only 27 Mbps (down) - 14 Mbps (up). That means any and all of your online access will be well under any 1 GB connectivity issue, less than one-third capacity.

Of course that just applies to Internet access. If you have multiple devices (desktops, laptops, NAS, etc.) that are connected via Ethernet and you do a lot of file sharing and such between them, than yes you do have a puzzling problem. Keep in mind your home network is its own separate, isolated local network. Outside of that is the Internet, a separate but very public network. Interacting with your PC to a laptop over your home LAN is done within your router's management and maintenance of your local network. Any Internet access involves connectivity through your ISP's modem to eventually link into the Internet. So online access will be limited to 27ish Mbps while local network, direct access over Ethernet cables should be much faster (close to the 1GB capacity of your network card/chips). If that Fing utility can display internal and public speeds I'd check both.

Your PlusNet Hub 2 is quite capable of 1GB bandwidth:

https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-information/

It's a nice modem/router unit but again, your Fing screen capture only shows a limited aspect to your home network. There is going to be a noticeably large difference between your local networking speed and online, Internet speed.

Also, a notable point is your PlusNet Hub 2 modem/router is running your ISP's firmware. Your ISP has complete control over the software, and remotely, so that creates a situation where it has oversight in both the modem functionality (expected) and the routing functionality (typically downplayed). If you buy and setup your own router, that at least isolates your home network so your retain all control over your home LAN. But really, if you're not comfortable or familiar with managing your own router, don't bother. Your current PlusNet modem/router is fine. If you do have slow local network issues you need to skip any Internet issues and focus on the actual problem, something within your home network (i.e. bad cabling, misconfiguration in the router settings, etc.)
