Bought used but fully working mifi hot spot - TP-Link M7350 4G LTE.

I am stuck at loging to my mobile hot spot via android tablet tpmifi app.

I input user name as SSID TP-LINK_ X X X X

I input user name as just the above 4 digit code

I input user name as Login name ( specified in TP-Link M7350 4G LTE MiFi device info):

http://tplinkmifi.net

None of the above methods work.

Working 02 Sim card inserted in to TP-Link M7350 4G LTE MiFi. Icons show signal strength of sim at around 3 of 5 bars. Wifi strength max. Connected devices 2. Battery 90% full.

What is wrong?

Not sure of the user name? Where do I find user name?

Does this hotspot allow you to connect via a Web interface via WiFi using the factory default settings? If so, I'd try that. The apps. add an extra layer of troubleshooting complexity.

Apparently you're using  http://tplinkmifi.net  to access your TP-Link M7350 cellular hotspot device. That's the default, generic address so you might be better off using actual IP address numbers instead to manage and maintain your local network. Try accessing it using

Keep in mind your TP-Link M7350 device is basically just a portable modem/router, a big difference being its being fed by a wireless cellular signal and not by a wired cable sourced by an ISP. That's the modem end, the routing functionality is similar. And that's what you interact with, those router-based IP addresses. So whatever devices (computer? laptop? other mobile device?) need to connect to an assigned IP address from your TP-Link modem/router. You need to distinguish there's a difference between accessing the router settings menu (using your account login info) and accessing the Internet (other devices use an assigned IP address from your router) -- i.e if you do have a laptop you need to make sure it's connected to your TP-Link router using its assigned IP address in order for it can have access to the Internet. (...a separate issue being if you've set up your TP-Link modem/router to using DHCP to automatically assign IP addresses or if you opt to used your own manually assigned IP address. By default you router should be using DHCP).
