Videos on external drive with Windows 11 stop at each frame

The title pretty much says the problem. when I play my videos of which there are many after one plays, it stops. They don't play continuously, they did one time before when I was either creating them or I. had them on my desktop rather than the. external drive. I can't remember which. is there an adjustment I can make so they play right through the consecutively rather than stopping at each frame.

NOTE : @PDN you are not getting replies as suspect as per above you are supplying not enough System Information nor enough info on the problem and as well what you have tried to do to fix this problem.

With 581 + Posts you should know by now what is required.  (note this as of late with all posts Win11. Not looking back further but it is a bad habit. You have been notified.)
