See if you can find the manual/directions for use at the website of the manufacturer.

I am not exactly sure who is the manufacturer is, but an email address for support was included was Hyanwoo@foxmail.com.  Of course it's China... But I might assume manufacturer is Hyanwoo?  Having said that, I have contacted them, but have had no response.

In researching all possible options to fix.. internet suggestions have discussed APN fixes.. but not sure where and how to do that.  Would it be the Setracker2 app or the device?  Either location doesn't really offer much help or direction to a setting I could adjust

I didn't really understand your response.. yes.. I can send it back... are you suggesting a better product?  I don't want to spend a bunch for a 6 year old.. but do want it to work....

The links were provided to illustrate that there are a number of these items now available...and they all seem to work when directions for use are followed by purchasers.

I know most of the users have successfully gotten these watches to work.. but somehow.. the few I have tried to follow haven't been very clear where I am going wrong.. andI am just frustrated with the lack of help from any source..

But thank you for reaching out.

ps.. Where I get lost is the APN stuff.. I don't really understand it and if I need to contact Speedtalk or the watch or my phone app.... and don't find a setting as to where to APN.. I just keep getting a message watch is offline and stops me dead as far as proceeding.

That's my issue. and no help anywhere.  I know it should work.. other ppl do get them to work..

It has been brought to my attention concerning GPS devices and their inherent small size of the antennas needed to receive signals from four satelites.  Indoors and under a heavy tree canopy are almost impossible to get good links and thereby a good operation.  Device being offline would indicate that it isn't getting good reception.
