I finally got rid of Cisco and also found my connection problem. The ethernet cable is one purchsed in 2012 when I opened my recording studio and was used on an HP 8100 Elite and this PC, HP 8200 Elite. The cable is not capable of carrying a gigabyte connection and the PC is so old it is not able to compensate for that shortcoming. The Eero range extender and my TV are new tech and are able to compensate, althought the connection is slow and in the Megabyte range. So, I connected my PC to the Arris router with a cable made for GB and it works just fine. The Frontier tech said my router was showing a connection on the port going to the PC but it was a slow connection. That is what clued him in to the problem.

So problem solved. That is one thing I never would have thought to check. Thanks for all the help though. It is never wasted time to me because I can always learn from it.

(In the hospital 2 days and other health stuff, so I'm late getting back to this.)AQgain, thanks to all

Men, I'm sorry for not getting back to this. It turned out to be a heck of a case of COViD. Still kinda sluggish. Anyway, the problem was definitely in the old ethernet cable I was using, After examining it, there appeared to be a possible bad connectior at the PC end. Problem solved.

Yes, take your time. You might also want to look into the Mask+ protocols for Covid and Long Covid. You do not want to let Covid become long covid. It's miserable. Well done.
