.an excessive amount of "optimiziers" or other programs like driver updaters,.................utilities, etc ..............................Please don't bother with any of those because they're little more than snake oil. They won't make your PC run any faster or better and they have the potential to cause catastrophic problems.
This is exactly correct. These 'optimizer' / 'driver updater' programs almost exclusively are rubbish at best, and malware at worst. Many of them will steal as much of your information as possible or infect your computer with adware. Avoid at all costs.
Ninite is possibly the only exception to that that I would consider.
I agree with the sentiments above. You don't really need optimizers. I have Windows 11 Pro at home, and use Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to protect, and use Disk Cleanup when I need to remove some garbage.
Exactly. Windows built-in tool called Disk Cleanup (Disk cleanup in Windows - Microsoft Support) is all you need to "optimise" your PC.
Also be careful of browser extensions that you install. Generally the fewer the better. There are plenty of browser extensions that have been widely used, then sold to a company that inserted tracking or malware or adware into the extension.
Personally, I would use Microsoft Defender, I might consider a Malwarebytes subscription. If you really want to buy an AV product, I would opt for the most basic / cheapest option available, that does realtime scanning, from AVG, Bitdefender, McAfee, Sophos etc. Again though, do not buy into their optimisers or add-ons.
You are far better to protect your accounts online these days via the use of secure and unique passwords. and unique logins (using plus addressing temp email accounts).
Each website you visit should have a unique email address and unique password.
Use a tool like 1Password, or Lastpass, or Bitwarden for this.
I do use a VPN because we have a data limit with xfnity at my house so it automatically shuts off your IP if youre using too much data so I use VPN for that. Is therer any concefn with me using Nord VPN and Nord Pass for managing my passwords?
Using a VPN will NOT prevent Xfinity knowing how much data you use. You will still be stuck with the data limit. For instance, if you have a 200GB data limit and you use 200GB through your VPN, Xfinity will know you have used 200GB.
The only thing a VPN does, is prevent Xfinity from knowing where you are ultimately connecting to and what application you are using. It also prevents the service you are connecting to, e.g. a website, from knowing exactly where you connected from.
I'm sure Nord Pass is fine.
Exactly. Xfinity still knows the amount of data you're using. You can't hide that. All the Nord VPN is doing is hiding your location and charging you money.

why would a brand new computer enter stand by mode (at least it's calling itsself "standbymode" and i ill be playing a game or about to update a device and it the screen goes black and says its entering stand by mode
The monitor going into standby unexpectedly during use suggests that it's not getting video input.
That should not be happening.
Exactly my thoughts.
Assuming this is a custom-built computer, Did you personally build it or did someone else or or was bought online?

To add on about the stand by mode id say 10% of the time the whole system freezes(the screen, cntr, alt, del doesnt work, ,mouse, just a complete frozen image and comuter. I'd say 30% of thte time it will flash standby mode and reboot and it seems to happen often i.e. right when I am about to make some type of system change like a download or something , even small things. and the other 60%of the time it just says "standby mode activated" and the screen goes blank but the pc is still powered on. . So i originally purchased this custom built (meanig i selected the parts) pc from NZXT in April of this year. I was having a lot of issues with accounts being hacked and liek my paypal, venmo, cash, app, and chime account. I lost over $4k all together. So I sent it back to NZXT and they said it was my fault i let something horrible in because of my obsessive use of utilities and new apps. Now that it has returned and i have reopened it is when i started this thread. So thats the entire situation

This seems to be a hardware issue if this is a fresh install of Windows. You might want to contact NZXT again.

I'm sorry to hear of the problems with your new computer. There's clearly something very wrong with it.
Did the freezing and loss of video signal problems occur immediately or did they start after you'd installed various programs and perhaps tweaked something etc? If it's the former, then as Porthos has said, it's almost certainly a hardware problem and you should get in touch with NZXT.

Definitely don't do anything else before contacting NZXT, as you could potentially void a warranty or something. Get their perspective and go from there.

ok contacting now, ill let you know what they say

Especially at the price of those systems.

Open a Command Prompt and verify your default gateway (your router's IP address) by typing ipconfig /all. You should see Default Gateway listed with an IP address. That is what you need to put into your browser to access your router.
As for OneDrive and other Cloud services, there's nothing wrong with them, per se. I use GoogleDrive myself, but have used OneDrive before. I also have a MacBook Pro, so I also use iCloud.
Regarding Standby Mode, if you're playing a graphically-intense game or doing a task that requires a lot of system resources, it could be pushing your machine to its limits, and even beyond. You might need something like additional memory, or a better graphics card or something.
Did you call NZXT? If so, what did they say/recommend?
