Since 2018 my C7 AC 1750 has been working flawlessly. For the last week however, it drops my 2.4 GHz connection every few days. The 5 GHz connection works fine. Using the 2.4 GHz wireless connection are one Toshiba laptop, two Alexa speakers, and two cellphones. The problem seems to occur when one of the cellphones is using WhatsApp. If I reboot the router, then the  2.4 GHz connection is re-established and the Alexa and the cellphones can use it.

Where can I look for the problem?

Hi, would look to see if there are any support Drivers for the (unknown) Toshiba laptop.  Since Toshiba no longer makes laptops they may or may not be available from the Support that now looks after it.  Google for it.

I would take it that his is a Archer C7 AC 1750.  Did you Update the Firmware for it sometime around : 2022-11-10

https://www.tp-link.com/ca/support/download/archer-c7/#Firmware  Note : this is Canada website, use your country for the correct website.

If US : https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-c7/

Would suggest check out the Options for Downloads : GPL code, Utility if not installed, Emulator Firmware Update , Link to the App Store for Tether

As well as your User Manual.

This is from the Support Page and may explain your issue : Simultaneous 2.4GHz 450 Mbps and 5GHz 1300 Mbps connections for 1.75Gbps of total available bandwidth
